Colour connotations - emotions

To make my work have a more deeper meaning, I have decided that I would use a colour that would describe how the subject feels based on the song they have chosen. This makes sure that every colour has a meaning, which the audience can then also experience those emotions and perhaps wonder how and why the subject feels that way. This makes them try to know the subject much more without actually talking to the subject themselves.

Colour connotations:

Light red: Joy, love, passion
Pink: Romance, love, friendship
Dark red: Rage, anger, wrath
Brown: Stability
Dark orange: Distrust
Red-orange: Desire, passion
Dull yellow:  Jealousy, sickness
Light yellow: Joy, happiness
Yellow-green: Jealousy, sickness
Green: Jealousy, greed
Light blue: Joy, happiness
Dark blue: Seriousness
Light purple: Nostalgia, romantic
Dark purple: Sad, frustration, negative

Black: Sad, depression, negative
White: Dull

With these colours, I will take into account the subject's emotions and use the appropriate colour. I then plan to develop my work to involve all of the colours and connotations in my piece with enough subjects.
